Re: Recruiting

I agree - Silva is a young man at a crossroads of his life. Making a college choice is a tough decision, especially when you're weighing the thought of moving so far away from your family and support system. We do not know everything about this young man and should not rip on him. I like the potent...

Re: Booster Club

Wish I could be there tomorrow but live to far out to town to go. At some point I may take a day off to come and just show my support. Wish a teleconference phone could be set up.

Re: PG Berrick Jean Louis

Not a bad choice...New Mexico is a great program. Look forward to getting players just like him very soon. I am believing his interest in Evansville may only have been due to his ties with Coach Graves. But who can argue against the recruiting class that Coach McCarty has already brought in?

Re: Recruiting

As of right now Coach McCarty will have three scholarships available for what should be a very good recruiting class this fall. However, given the contacts he has Walter might still use that final scholarship offer for someone he would not want to pass up. Not sure what Silva's plans are right now b...

Re: Updated Roster 2018-19

I was thinking that Hurley was a tall, athletic point guard while Newton is a scoring shooting guard. That’s how I would categorize them, but who knows how the coaches will see it. I’d like to add either Silva to the Center group or Hankton to the SF group I tweeted Silva to ask if he was still bei...

Re: Updated Roster 2018-19

Definitely a new look for the Aces - one that has been a long time coming. Already fans are feeling the difference. Lot of hope, excitement, and positive chatter concerning Coach McCarty and the team. Just watching the Aces fly up and down the floor with an athletic bunch of players will make us all...

Re: New recruit signings

Honestly, because Walter got in late on this year's recruiting class I would have never dreamed of having the type of class Evansville has. I know that all recruiting classes look good when you see them on paper but this is a different level of player than what I have been used to seeing. Just wait ...

Re: Shea Feehan - 2018 Grad Transfer Candidate (6'0" PG)

Shamar will in time...he can really fly. But you would have to say at this point Shea's experience is going to give him an edge. Both will play a lot.

Re: Shea Feehan - 2018 Grad Transfer Candidate (6'0" PG)

I believe Shea is going to be an immediate fan favorite. His up-tempo style will fit in perfectly with Walter's system. He can create his own shot and shoot the three, excellent free throw shooter, and plays with a lot of hustle and enthusiasm. Because of his present experience and abilities, other ...
