Re: Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Leaves Evansville for Missouri

Eh. I'd exchange the SCBHOF for the OVC Tourney any time.

Re: Non Conference Schedule Released!

We can't play any more non-D1 schools. There is a limit of two non-D1 schools, and we apparently have Chaminade and Albion already.

Re: Todd Golden ESPN+ Article

Find investors, buy the digital broadcast rights to MVC and whatever other niche sport leagues you want, offer them to whomever wants them free of charge. The MVC is in this deal through 2025 IIRC. ESPN negotiates with the MVC saying "ESPN3 is available in 80 million homes", and then dras...

Re: 2018 Team

I don’t see a chance of last place .jmho Who do you think projects below the Aces? MSU, Drake, Evansville are all in the middle of complete rebuilds. Aces have 6 returning players, but only a couple who have substantial experience. MSU has Church, Dixon and Kreklow and a bunch of new guys. Drake ha...

Re: NCAA Attendance Figures

The T'Bolts announced their schedule earlier this week. They have Saturday night games conflicting with the Aces on November 17, December 1, and December 15. Pencil 1pm starts for the Aces on those days, I guess.

Re: 1980 Evansville High School Semi-State New Albany-TH South

. But in usual Evansville fashion I am sure that someone connected owned the property it is built on. The Executive Inn property, which is where 1/2 of the Ford Center and the Double Tree now stand, was bought by the city out of foreclosure from a Texas based bank. I'm not sure who owned the other,...

Re: KJ Riley - offseason training

I agree with you, COUTEAU. I'm pretty sure it would be against the NCAA's rules for the Athletic Department or coaching staff to pay for external coaching services. If that weren't against the rules, you'd have Kentucky buying each player a personal coach as a "contractor" to get around th...

Re: Recruiting

Transfers. Coaches have to re-recruit their players EVERY year. The recruiting game has changed and will continue to do so. I think I read on the ESPN Bottomline yesterday that the D1 transfer rules were being changed such that the school granting a release could no longer make it conditional on wh...

Re: UE radio joines Learfield

I agree with you on all points. His demo tape is very good, and to have this voice on a multi-station network with a 100 mile radius is a a gigantic leap. Nothing against Lance or Walt, but this is the best sound Aces games will have since the days of Bob Buck. I don't remember Bob Buck, but I'll n...
