Re: 2018 Team

I only have 2 thoughts coming into this season. (1) I'm really interested in seeing Noah and KJ come out of the blocks un-shackled and playing to their potential. (2) Every time I see Walter I feel good, he makes me smile. Based on 11 years of false hope, I'm prepared to give him all the rope he nee...

Re: Marty Simmons hired by Clemson

"Orange and Purple just got a little more exciting", Blake Simmons.

I couldn't agree more. I suspect neither Clemson nor UE will bring the ball past half court and just stand there watching 15 seconds of sideways movement.

Re: Which returning player scores more points?

Given the green light, Noah's quick release and penetration is going to be fun to watch. Clayton Custer style.

Re: Sunday Fun

2nd most memorable. Haffner's 65 and getting both mine and my wife's ticket autographed by Scott.

Most memorable was giving him one of those tickets last year during his ceremony. He seemed happy to get it.

Re: Ramblings on a Sunday

OR, The boxing analogy; After decades of bobbing, weaving, ducking, laying against the ropes, hoping the other team punches them selves out so our one jab specialist can try to pull out a win, ACE Purple is going to stand up and fight. I for one am more than ready for a good old fashion, toe to toe,...

Re: Ramblings on a Sunday

Just. A quick Sunday Ramble. I am simply mesmerized by the sea change which has occurred between the last post here and today. Talk about getting the message and pulling the trigger, Kudos to the entire UE administration that had any say in stepping up and making hard decisions. At best back in Marc...

Re: Former Reitz star commits to Missouri

I hold absolutely no grudge against Dru. Good kid, he's a pleasure to watch play. However....big state subsided, predatory, sleaze ball, programs that smells blood in the water, and goes shopping for venerable young talent during programs restructuring is another story. Simple, I throw MizzoU over i...

Re: A sighting

Dru must have taken the change in direction harder that most. Keep in mind his decisions are influenced by not only his perspective but those close to him. Regardless of his next moves when it comes to basketball he'll do fine, and I'm fairly sure he'll excel as a starter on any team he chooses. I j...

Re: Players Leaving

Good luck to RT and Dru. I hope for their sake they don't wake up next January regretting a rash decision, especially Dru. But I am thankful I'm going to see Noah's progression. The first time I saw DJ's release as a freshman I thought "OK this kid's got it" Same feeling for Frederking. An...
