Re: Recruiting

Akoy mentioned yesterday on Twitter that he's switching back to his high school number 0, so it does look like he has something lined up. No indication if it's us, but adding someone like him this late would be a huge bonus. #0 did recently become available . . . And we all know who # 0 was...........

Re: Aces Insider

I talked to DC last week he is going home for two months. he cant work out because of the stress fracture he has should be back in August Ouch. This hurts. That will put him two months behind on conditioning because of the stress fracture. The new tempo style of offense and defense, he will have to...

Re: Recruiting

How is this for a win win win proposal. Put on of the current players under “preferred walk ok” status (academic scholly anyone?), and offer schollys to the kid from BYU and 6’8” grad student. Then, the current player could receive their scholly back next year. A great situation would get even better.

Re: Aces Insider

Bummer news guys. By my calculations, Marty Hill did not qualify for a medical redshirt and is going to be a senior this year. Here is why: 30% of 32 games is 9.6 games which means that to be eligible, he could only play in 9 games last season. And while he did only play in 9 games, there is a glar...

Re: Aces Insider

I asked if Hill had requested and been granted a medical redshirt for last year. The rule is pretty cut and dry on medical redshirts. And.........? Here is the rule. Medical Hardship Requirements To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria: The...

Re: Recruiting

Change of subject. I wonder if coach is looking at the Lander boy from Reitz. His AAU team was playing in St. Louis this past weekend (I believe), and that isn’t too bad of a trip to make. Kid is rated as the #2 PG in Indiana for the class of 21, and his dad has Harrison ties. These are the players ...

Re: Sunday Fun

Memorable game. NCAA against Oregon St.
Memorable moment from it. Crafton’s shot from about 26’ to win it.

Memorable game in person. Every single game against Xavier.

Travis Ford. Shifty and quick. Can get into the paint when he wants. Scoring is the icing on the cake.
