Re: Recruiting

Change of subject. I wonder if coach is looking at the Lander boy from Reitz. His AAU team was playing in St. Louis this past weekend (I believe), and that isn’t too bad of a trip to make. Kid is rated as the #2 PG in Indiana for the class of 21, and his dad has Harrison ties. These are the players...

Re: Recruiting

I agree - Silva is a young man at a crossroads of his life. Making a college choice is a tough decision, especially when you're weighing the thought of moving so far away from your family and support system. We do not know everything about this young man and should not rip on him. I like the potent...

Re: Recruiting

As of right now Coach McCarty will have three scholarships available for what should be a very good recruiting class this fall. However, given the contacts he has Walter might still use that final scholarship offer for someone he would not want to pass up. Not sure what Silva's plans are right now ...

Would have to agree with both these picks. The 3 or 4 overtime game with Butler, up there, was one for the books also.

Re: Shea Feehan - 2018 Grad Transfer Candidate (6'0" PG)

I like this recruit for a lot of reasons. He has a great story, and I'm glad UE gets to help tell it to all the kids out there who are 6-0, but still follow their dream. More than that, though, I think a grad transfer with his maturity, attitude, toughness and skills could be a great asset to help ...

Re: Updated Roster 2018-19

I also think we are looking at an all around athletic team. Remember under pitino starting 5 subed for next 5. In nba brad Stephen's not afraid to sub either. I think the biggest difference we will see is 12 players in shape and our defense will play to win, instead of not to lose. The whole progra...

Re: New recruit signings

6'9" white guy. Looks to be a pretty decent player. Likes to run the floor, and can finish at the basket. Can play defense, and step out, and hit the three. Looks like a guy who could put on some weight, and gain experience, and could be a pretty good player in Walter's system. The Aces got a p...

Bleed, I think you are correct.

Re: Ramblings on a Sunday

To me, one word best describes what we have now vs. prior to March 13.....HOPE. What solidifies my hope even more is this. One sign of a good/great manager is surrounding themself with smart/competent people and being willing to listen to them. It's obvious that Walter is smart enough to realize th...
