Re: Congratulations

Our Aces are officially the top draw in the MVC, and are the only team drawing over 5000 people overall, as well as in conference games only. They are also the only team (in conference games) to average over 5000 people at home AND on the road (almost 5700 at home, almost 5200 on the road). Just sh...

I've got to agree. January in Iowa has always been an Aces killer. New coach, new team, hopefully new outcome.

For Hockey you don't have the tarpped off areas nor do you have the addition of the baseline bar and the student and onfloor seating sections

So, If i read correctly, maximum seats available for an Aces game is well below 10,000 fans.

Not to say the recruits weren't there, but they were not in the same seats as the other 3 were
last game.

The recruits were sitting with their mothers in the baseline bleachers near the Aces bench 4 or 5 rows up from the floor. Exact same area as the other recruits.

Is he on campus and attending classes ?

When can he practice with the team ?

I just looked up the spring schedule and classes don't start until next Monday, January 14. This could be why Art is not back on campus and also why we have not heard anything about Peace.

Re: Game Thread: Loyola at Evansville

The effect of the student section last night on the crowd, noise level, and the players cannot over stated. Male college students with megaphones was huge. The swim team showed up in speedos with GOACES painted on their chests. They ran body surfing relay races in the empty band area during one time...

Re: Game Thread: Loyola at Evansville

Shea Feehan won the toughness belt for his play last night. Great hustle on his part for diving to the floor on several loose balls. The award easily could have gone to several other players or even to the team for the smothering defense they played.

Re: Chris Mack

But a Dayton player ( I think his name is Wes Coffee) had a ball thrown into his face in a game against UE. Chris Mack is the player who hit him with the ball on orders from Jim Crews. Not the coach's finest hour, and Mack says he couldn't play for Crews because of that, and transferred after the s...

Is it safe to assume there will be no announcement of his signing until after he is enrolled in school next week?

Re: Pitt transfer Peace Ilegmah

Not the most ringing endorsement of his former coach: Jeff Capel on Pitt's rebounding after Peace Ilegomah's departure: “The guy we lost didn’t rebound for us. That’s the truth. It’s not a knock. It’s not like he was playing a lot. You hate to see anyone leave and you wish him well, but rebounding ...
