Re: Game Thread: Aces at Xavier

This season is a blessing in disguise. Assuming this year's recruiting class is on par with Cunliffe, Deandre, and Art, we'll be loaded with talent next year. KJ, Frederking, Kuhlman, and the freshmen have a weight on their shoulders this year that they won't have going forward. This season will tea...

Re: MBB Early Signing period

And I might prize Newton over Dixon after looking at film in both again. Yes. I would’ve put Newton at the bottom (thinking that size is what we need most). But then I saw Newton’s tape...wow. I wonder how it compares to Steph’s tape coming into Davidson. (Because it kind of looks like Steph’s Warr...

Re: Contest

I like the call on KJ as leading scorer. I could see him breaking out with RT and Dru gone.

I've spent the last 5 minutes reading through this thread and, from what I can tell, I have wasted 5 minutes.

Re: Will the Aces finish last?

The more I think about it, the less I care about where we finish this year. I hate that Hill, Feehan, and DC won't get to play with next year's group. But other than that, this year's short bench is a blessing in disguise. It's a fantastic opportunity for K.J., Frederking, Kuhlman, Hall, Newton, and...

Re: Lance Wilkerson's Tweet

Also possible that Lance didn’t mean for anything cryptic to be read into it. It doesn’t say there’s big news in the pipeline, and it might not be related to a new commit someone heard about around the same time. -Maybe it was a pep rally - or plans for a pep rally. -Maybe we looked good in practice...

Re: Will the Aces finish last?

Two more meaningless cents: I hope Feehan is talented enough to have a big role. He has parking lot range. He's put up big numbers against good D-I competition before. If Riley or Hill can play Shy Ely, I could see him being a Holsinger. I don't know if he could be a #1 option in the Valley. But if ...

Re: DeAndre Williams

Imagine we found out today - for the first time - that DeAndre signed with us and has 3 years of eligibility starting next year. We would be ecstatic. I have no problem grinding this season out and waiting to roll out DeAndre, Cunliffe, and Art all at the same time.

Re: Maui Mainland Tournament - Nov 17-18

+10. Walter alone makes this season a priority story for EC&P and local TV. We'll get steady coverage of whatever the school does to make this tournament special. And if we're competitive @Illinois and @Xavier, it'll be a great weekend (regardless of the opponents).

Re: The UE Brand

I just found out about Homefield Apparel, an Indianapolis-based company that sells T-shirts and sweatshirts of colleges and universities in the state of Indiana. The company manufactures their clothing in Indianapolis. Their website just launched today and they currently have three UE items with re...
