Haven't heard much about Rager, but Jackson Marcotte should be given a look too.

Class 2A second team, #2 vote-getter, as a Junior.

The first question is which sport that he wants to play more, basketball or football.

I agree tremendous player, Rager has outstanding ability and is overshadowed by Carpenter and Marcotte, Marcotte has come on strong the last month and in the playoffs.

I've seen MC play a few times this year. I'm not a big recruiting guy but I don't think Rage is a D1 kid. He is a hell of an athlete no doubt about that. I think his offensive game is lacking to be considered a D1 recruit.

As a sophomore he shows the potential to be a D-1 guard in my opinion, just needs to hit the weights and work on his shot.

I know he is a great athlete. But nothing else about his game is D1 to me. Maybe I caught him on poor nights. Not trying to take anything away from the kid. He is a very nice high school player.

Starting off his Junior year averaging a double double, I think if he get's stronger could really be special by the time he graduates.

Double double of points and rebounds, or assists? There are also other metrics that have to be considered besides just scoring.

Points and rebounds, goes without saying, he just appears to have a long reach, good shot, very good defender and see lots of potential....he will have to get stronger.

With it being a guard, I asked because of assists. What are his numbers currently?
