The Aces need to be recruiting this young man. He's a tough kid with outstanding character and a very hard worker. He attended UE's elite camp last summer, but may not be on the radar of the new staff.

Within 2 days of hiring at Louisville, Chris Mack had extended 14 offers to prospects for class of 2019. It's been a week, and UE has extended 2 offers for 2019.

Of course, Mack was a college coach and had players he had been recruiting already and presumably a lot of his Xavier staff came with him. Walter does not have that luxury.

But you are right that we need to put it in high gear real soon as we have half a roster to fill.

One 5 star, one 4.3 star and the balance 2 star according to Verbal Commits. I doubt he's really interested in the 2 star guys.

I am still so excited of the changes taking place I do not have one negative hair on my body at this point. We need to give Walt and his staff which has not even been officially put together some time. Heck, he does not even know how many open scholarships he has because he does not even know who is coming back and who is leaving. He only knows for sure he has the open ones that were not filled from last year or due to the seniors who are leaving.

If nothing has taken place in the next 2-3 weeks we can start wondering. With the current players I believe they have until the end of May to let us know whether they are leaving or staying. Correct me if I am wrong about this.

Agree 100% , Rome wasn't built in a day, im sure some of his assistants will have guys they are already recruiting, I have heard second guessing and negativity for several years now, let's give Walter time and see what it looks like in a few weeks.

Mack has been around the college game for a while,Walt has not been.Maybe Walt knows what current players are coming back. And we have minimal openings.
