I believe Bradley, offered this kid, as a Freshman.
Could be wrong. But, name looks familiar.

Someone else compared him to Casebier. I agree and think we need to land this young man.

He would be a huge addition, and he's a great fit for Walter's system.

Hey, if he is another Casebier I would take him as a superstar recruit...Casebier is my all-time favorite in the past years....he was talented, but most of all he was a fighter...such competitive spirit...if he was in the game, you had hopes for winning it, because he always had the same goal and put forth the effort to do just that.

I have a cousin in Lex. who has seen Moreno. The kid is pretty tough, and he can score from anywhere. Maybe he's not the second coming of Parrish, but I'm with you about Casebier. The guy had chops. He wasn't afraid of anyone, and he could score and rebound, regardless of the height matchup.

Yes, I commented earlier that Michael Moreno reminds me a lot of Casebier ... and without the drama that Casebier had. From what I've seen in video, he is a very smart player who knows how to score in a variety of ways, inside or outside. He seems to be a tenacious rebounder. His Scott County, Ky team is very talented and runs a high powered, fast paced offense similar to what Coach McCarty is pursuing. I noted that when Moreno was offered by UE, he was listed as a 4 star recruit, but for some reason he is now listed as a 3 star recruit. From the things I've read about him, he is an excellent student who may also consider becoming a teacher. Very impressive that he is very involved in his community. He seems to be an impact player who could be a tremendous addition to the outstanding talent assembled for next year. Iowa is also in pursuit of him, among many others.
