He moves really well. He can pull up from deep, take you inside, get over your big men, create a shot off the dribble. Wow, I'm just glad he's on our side.

I remember watching that game.
Not because I knew or cared who Cunliffe was. Nor, because I'm a UK fan.
Was on the road, it was just after Thanksgiving and I was in a sports bar.
I think at one time UK was up by 55-60 points.
Don't remember what the final was.
I remember, because of the table full of obnoxious Kentucky fans. So, I wanted even more than ever for ASU, to pull the upset.
It was reminiscent of The DUKE-ACES game, as I recall.
Perhaps more incentive on next season's Rupp visit for Sam, to collect a triple double against The Cats, in an ACES victory!

A few miscellaneous tidbits:

I see where Art and Sam have enrolled in school - so that is good.

I also see where Sam and DeAndre were in top 50 small forwards in the entire country in ESPN’s top 100 list in 2016. Sam was #10 (#42 overall) and Deandre was around #42 (approximately #229 overall).

Butler and Xavier landed some top recruits and recruiting the big names became easier. Notwithstanding top notch coaching, good recruiting equals wins equals good recruiting. Both became national powers.

Let’s hope November is even better and we see Height in Purple and White and then next November is even better. The Ford Center will rock and finally we will stop looking in the rear view mirror to how it used to be.

On Verbal Commits each team in the MVC has an average listed of the recruiting stars of the players, which ranges from 2.00 to 5.00. The Aces have consistently been at 2.00 except for the Mislav Brzoja years. With the addition of Sam and DeAndre the Aces this season are at 2.205, the same as Illinois State. Interesting is that UNI is a solid 2.00 this season.

Sam is listed as 6'6" but in the article said I'm 6-foot-8.

In another year we will have some really versatile players in DeAndre, Sam, John Hall, etc.
