I have no details whatsoever, but a friend of mine told me he was at Cavanaughs last night. While there he saw Coach McCarty with two very athletic looking young men. I'm guessing, but it was likely two young men on official visits before the November 14 early signing period. Hope we start to hear of verbal commitments soon!

We don't have a 2021 recruiting thread available, so just throwing this here:

I see where Khristian Lander got an offer from Ohio State yesterday.

Khristian Lander has told UE that he has no desire to play at UE.Nothing personal against Walter or the school, but he wants to get out of Evansville.Very reliable source

I know verbal commits is not always correct with its information but they have usually been a reliable source. That is why is confounds me that Elijah Height has only been offered by Evansville. Makes no sense to me, unless there is some underlying issue I am unaware of.

Would like to hear the signing of Odukale and Height in the early period. That would be our two positions of need taken care of in PG and C.

Well just to ask, was it forsure two potential recruits? There is a lot of new faces around here. Probably a dumb question but just curious.

I seem to remember seeing on Twitter that he was lacking in offensive skills according to several coaches, but all agree that he has a huge upside. A program like UE can afford to take a chance and develop him as a player i.e. Giddy. Other programs may want to see what he does during this playing season. I for one want to see “ACES” across his chest.

We do now have 1 more position available with the unfortunate departure of Becker.
Do we go hard for
T. Newton
Height
Dixon
LaRavia

We have a verbal from PG Henderson from Charlotte.

So, that leaves 3 open scholarships, right?

So, we need to find a way to get 3 of these 4:

Newton - SG
LaRavia - SF
Dixon - SF
Height - C

Forgot about that one.
For me that would leave LaRavia on the outside looking in.
...... and you never know what the off season holds .
