That was quick! Great news, I watched his highlights for the first time today. I love his passing ability, definitely has some point guard instincts. He seems like he has a high BB IQ too. I wouldn't say he's super athletic, which to me is honestly a good thing...we've had our share of "long/athletic" players over the years and they haven't been very good. I'd rather take a smart, high IQ PG like this guy any day of the week. That's probably why he didn't have as many offers from the higher profile schools.

His shot is smooth as well, and is capable of shooting off the dribble and going to the basket.

To clarify the not super athletic comment...what I mean is, he isn't getting all his points in high school off his athleticism, like guys we've had in the past did. He can actually shoot, pass, and has an all around game. I really like this signing.
8-19 .....1986
16-12 ....1987 --- MCC Champ
21-8 .....1988 --- NIT
25-6 .....1989 --- NCAA
Key point, be patient, never judge a coach on Year 1!

Looks like Walter made quite an impression with Marcus from the start. Seems like he has a great all around game....very good passing instincts, pushes ball up court well and gets to the rim. Not great elevation on his shot, but has a nice smooth delivery on his three pointers. I think he will flourish in coach McCarty's up tempo style. Now sign Desean Elkens and Elijah Height and call it a day!!!

If there ever was a time to say, "wait till next year", this is it.

I’m not as ready to throw in the towel before one basket is attempted. I prefer the half full glass.

Well, I guess it boils down to what you mean by throwing in the towel. Do I think the Aces will go 18-0, NO. Do I think they will go 0-18, NO. Do I think they will be a Thursday team, YES. It just means that they would have been a better team with DeAndre than without him.

He was noted as a standout in the showcase they're having after his game last night:

6’2 2019 Marcus Henderson: United Faith Christian Academy (Evansville Commit)

Henderson is a super smooth lead guard that can flat out light it up from distance no matter where the defense is. He has the ball on a string, with an ability to get by just about any man in front of him, creating for himself or others off the drive and kick. Evansville got a college ready point guard that is capable of playing off the ball due to his exceptional shooting ability. He should develop into an excellent college player.

He signs his LOI today in a ceremony before his afternoon game. First one in the bag.
