I think mother knows best. I have noticed on several of his videos he likes to shoot from the chest but then again he shoots every kind of shot. This could be holding up many of the P-5s until they can evaluate him more without his brother.

I will say this kid is still averaging over 40 points per game which would really look good in an Aces uniform.

I'm not knocking Juwan. But I hope Tristan is better than his brother.I actually thought with his numbers from high school that he could have been the starting SG.

He's just a freshman. It's a little ambitious to expect a freshman to start, and who knows he could turn out to be a quality player

I am optimistic. I think Juwan will turn out to be pretty darn good. He is quick, athletic and compared to most freshman after just a few games I think he is better than most of them. Some never saw the court this soon and many were not very good when they did. Marty never developed players as Freshman unless they were the "anointed one" like Colt or DJ or Giddy. I remember how awful some players were their first year as I sat back and figured "how could we sign this guy" but then they turned out to be very good. Andy Elkins comes to mind as well as Dan Godfried, Sascha Hupmann, Troy Taylor and there are more, I am just too tired to try to think of them all.

Troy Taylor is one of the best examples you stated. He was out of control his freshman year but he developed into a real good player.

Last night Tristen scored 35 points in a win against LBJ of Austin, TX. He scored 21 points in the 4th quarter in the come from behind win. Way to go Tristen.

Has Tristen committed or is he going elsewhere?

Currently the 3rd leading HS scorer in the nation at 38.8 ppg. I haven’t seen that he has committed to any school yet. I assume that UE still has a standing offer to play for the Aces.

No commitments by Tristen yet but Baylor, Kansas St and Wisconsin have been checking on him. I still think he would look good in a Aces uniform playing alongside his brother.
