No, the Aces don't owe us squat about anything. All Pat has to do is ask Walter why he didn't play, and all Walter has to do is say, I didn't like the match up for him in that game. Nuff said, and we go on to another subject, but that doesn't mean we can't wonder why he didn't play.

He played a number of minutes tonight and did pretty well. He can take it to the rim and is athletic. I think he is going to help us over his four year career.

Couldn't agree more. He's as good as any of the freshmen we have, who can play.

Tristen has played 3 games so far this year through 11/20 and has scored 41, 43, 43 points and has 33 total rebounds. While his 3-point percentage is a little low at 32% his 2-point percentage is 57%. Added to this he has made 40 of 46 FT for 87%.

This kid has a game we need in an Aces uniform.

Verbal committs has UE,Texas Rio Grand, and Jackson St. Are the only 3 who have showed interest so the bigger schools are not knocking on this kid's door begging him to come

I am surprised that Tristen did not sign yet, so it would seem he is in no hurry. He may want to see how things go for his brother before he decides. But he also runs the risk that Walter might find someone he likes better.

You can bet that McCarty and crew will be making contact with the recruits that were passed over by the P-5 and other high profile schools for the Spring signing period.

I thought it was a little odd that one of the links to this kid posted his mother's name and her phone number and email address.
Seriously?

Tristen just lit up the scoreboard with a 50 point game. I don’t know what to think about this kid other than I think he should join his brother and light up the Ford Center.

Not to be pessimistic, but is Tristen that good,or is his
competition that bad. :| :|

The level of competition may not be that great, but it still takes a lot of skill to pour in the points like he has been this season. I would bet he is shooting better than 65% from the field this season. That’s just crazy.
