After listening to Alex interview we have ZERO chance on him.
Quote,I want to play at the highest level in front of large crowds.
I don't think 3200 is large enough.

We have a couple of years to change that. :D

Realistically, I think the Aces may only have until early signing period next spring. I would think he would want to play his senior year with the recruiting behind him.

Alex may have dreams of playing in front of large crowds. He also may find himself on the bench looking up at the large crowds and the tremendous athletes on the floor getting all the playing time should he try to get signed or walk on at a school such as IU or some of the other top 25 programs.

Agree our 3,200 or whatever the average attendance is, is not helping us like it used to when we could say it was 8,000 or even 10,000 plus. Wins take care of that vs good competition, no replacement for that.

That said, it is very competitive for everyone's entertainment dollar. The attendance being what it was years ago, is just that, years ago. In today's market with all the cable and satellite and other streaming/tv packages should we average 6,000-7,000 it would be an outstanding number imho.

I was ae to watch him against Harrison in the SIAC tournament. I realuze everyone has bad games. Hopefully that was the case as he was not in the top four players on the floor in this game.

Alex attended the game today. Scott Haffner spent considerable time talking with him before the game.

The first time I saw Alex play he reminded me of Haffner..similar build and size, great shooter. Hemmingway could come in and play all four years if he works hard and keeps improving and his family could watch him play all four years or he can go to a bigger school and sit the bench most of his first year or two and hope for PT his last two seasons. He can be a good size fish in the Valley pond or a minnow at a bigger school. Would love to see us get him. We need to sign some guards for the next few seasons.
