I believe Alex has done what he has set out to accomplish better offers from larger schools I mean you can't really blame him to go to Clemson

Basketball wise I don't believe Neb or Clemson is a very big step up Football over shadows basketball at both schools I would be surprised if he were to go to either one

Let's be serious here - we are talking the Big Ten and the ACC which is a huge step up from the MVC. I do understand what you are saying in the sense that schools like Nebraska generally are at the bottom of their conference. However, for a school like Clemson to go 6-12 against ACC competition and still finish above .500 for the season tells me they are significantly better than an Aces team that finished below .500 against a significantly weaker schedule. But all in all I get your point but disagree.

Hopefully the early hometown offer will keep him close to home where family and friends can see him play.

IMHO we have two things going for us the other bigger schools cannot offer:
1. Can play close to home and family can see him play
2. Will likely see significant playing time throughout his career

He can be a decent size fish in the small pond at UE or be a tadpole in a big lake if he wants to go to a bigger school. I guess we will all find out soon enough. It may be a while since he is only going to begin his junior season in a month.

what I was saying in my comments about Alex in the Neb and Clemson comment is I believe Alex will get bigger offers that than neb or Clemson

Good point! And you are most likely correct.

We are all hoping that he will stay close to home and be a part of taking his hometown team back to the big dance.

I don't believe we have a chance on Alex.Marty did right by offering
his freshman year.
