2. Great body control, soft shooting touch, finishes strong with either hand. He would be a nice fit for Evansville.

He was also invited to the Adidas All American camp which is invite only and features typically the top 150 players of the class.

It'll be very interesting to see how Walter and staff build relationships with the 2019-2020 players they identify as key recruits. A lot of kids who get publicized as Top 150s, 3-4 star, etc. will assume that they are destined to be high major players. They all want to be in the NBA, and they look at the power conferences as the place to be.

I'm glad to see the staff reaching out to some of these "elite" prospects. Some will realize that they are better suited to be stars in the MVC, rather than riding the pine for a couple of years at a high major. There is also value in getting to know players early in the cycle because kids are going to move up and down more. As a "non-Ivy academic", we will be in good shape if we can consistently get the 3, and sometimes 4 kids we need to fill the roster from the pool of kids who want a great education, a smaller college environment, etc. They are out there. Davidson gets their 3-4 EVERY year, and I'm confident that we'll get our share from here forward.

ncace, I share your optimism. It looks like we are reaching out to the kind of players you are referring to, and if you don't do that there is no chance of getting them.
