Video interview with Taylor and Marty Simmons. Really good insight from Ryan Taylor about dealing with the injury and his faith. Good interview.

From what they said they are hoping for a quicker recovery than 6 weeks. It's apparently a small fracture.
Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.

I was in Cancun and I did not see a team doctor on the trip. Some people in our group mentioned this when we found out Sol was in the hospital in Mexico.

From some in attendance....it looked as though SEMO trainer was assisting one of our player's during first night. Did we not bring any training or medical staff down there? Also, comment was made earlier about Ryan getting X-ray.....supposedly Soloman was hospitalized while there so I am sure they could have gotten an X-ray taken as well if they wanted.
Just my opinion...I could be wrong!

See video Tom provided. Answers about injury discussed on it by Coach Simmons and Ryan Taylor.

Ryan Taylor is the MVC co-player of the week, sharing the honor with Reed Timmer of Drake. Well earned after scoring 25 points vs. UNI and 32 against Illinois State.

Surely well deserved for Ryan. But I will admit my heart dropped when I saw an update on this thread, thought the injury bug bit us again.

Could Taylor play somewhere else next year as a graduate transfer?

Sure if he goes to a school that offers a graduate degree that UE does not offer.

But I sure hope not and have no reason to believe that he would or will.

It depends whether he's on schedule to graduate, which I don't know about.
