Doesn’t make sense at all. Poor clock management.

Neither team could score 50 points. Doubt that either team will make the NCAA Tournament. :D

And another horse crap last 2 minutes of a half to lose a game that was so being given to us it wasn't even funny. 18 points in a half....that is so freaking ridiculous! Good night Aces Land on to the Olympics....
Just my opinion...I could be wrong!

Only Marty takes 2 straight timeouts with less than 15 seconds on the clock and down by 5.

After the first TO, they should have called a quick hitter layup play since UNI was obviously defending against the 3. Then call a TO to set up a press and see what happens.

Terrible coaching and clock management.

So unbelievably BAD is UNI....and yet they beat us by 6 points!
No real effort by us on defense, rebounding, drives to the basket, and no offense by anyone except Taylor......embarrassing, sad, ...just what this entire program has become!

What does this all mean? A bunch of guys get a free education at an expensive university - that's about all you can say about Aces basketball as it stands today!

The Box Score is disturbing...

3 Starters get 2 Pts... TWO!!!!!
1 Starter gets 0 Pts...

Here’s what it all means - Marty is not the coach to get us where we want to be. He must be replaced. Blake is not a #2 scoring option on a good team. The way this team is constructed, that is the case when Dru is out of the game.

They changed the shot clock to 30 in 2015 to add offensive excitement. We scored 41 points. Purplewiskers summed it up a couple of weeks ago.
Knightcrewssimmons basketball has ruined a storied program. I don't want half time speeches and rah rah Marty. I want to know what past players really think. I kept waiting to see a light bulb go off in Marty's head. Preconference there were signs. The Austin Peay game with DS and RT out we looked like a 2018 basketball team straight down and attack. But when it's crunch time you revert to who you are. These boys deserve better, this University deserves better, this city deserves better, and us fans deserve better.

For the record, with the exception of Crews very weak teams towards the end, his teams never played liked this on offense. Never. They attacked. They got abused on the boards and on D at times. But he had teams that could shoot and score except his last year or so. I’ve seen a lot of old Crews games and the shot clock is never even mentioned (45 and 35 both) in the ones I’ve seen as his teams were putting the ball up.

I have no clue where Marty gets his philosophy. It’s obviously not going to work. That was just plain ugly...no way around it. That’s all I’m going to say about it.

Our guys just didn't execute tonight. I thought we practiced hard and were ready...but give Coach Jacobson credit, he has strong team, and they know how to win down the stretch. Gosh Darnit, it's just hard to win on the road in this league. It is so balanced, and night in and night out, these teams will give you everything they got. I thought Blake played very well tonight. Yes, he only had 2 points, but he was faced with some tenacious defense throughout. He does so many things right during a game that you don't notice. Wouldn't have even been in it without that. I thought Ryan Taylor did ok, the hell of it though, if he wasn't sick, he could have gotten over 30, which would have got us the win, so he really needs to pick his sick days on days we don't have games.
