UPDATE: We have secured enough sign-ups so the bus trip is officially ON!! We will leave UE around 10:00AM, and return after the game. The game is a 3:00PM Central start, which is ideal for a trip there and back.

We still have a few spots remaining. The tickets are a little less than we were first told, so the actual total costs will be between $66-$76 per person, depending on how many more people sign up. $46 deposit will hold your spot.

Hey Guys,

FYI, we still have a few spots left on the bus trip. The more people who sign up the cheaper the price will end up being. If you are interested in going you can either PM me or E-Villan, send an email to the aceshighclub (aceshighclub@outlook.com), or you can join the Facebook page (link in post above) and post it on there. $46 deposit holds your seat on the bus.

The price could end dropping to $66 if we get a full bus. As stated above, the bus will leave UE at 10:00 AM and will return after the game is over - stopping for dinner on the way back.

We are going to close the bus in the next couple of days so we can settle everything up. If anyone would still like to go, please let us know.

I am somewhat surprised at the lack of interest from this group. I am only aware of a couple of people who post on here who are going. Maybe there are others that don't want to be public, and that is fine.

This fan club was created on this board. After years and years of us griping about lack of excitement or involvement with the program, we did something about it. The university has been supportive, and everyone on here seemed excited. The only purpose of this is to give the average fan a way to participate in supporting the program and hopefully create excitement once again for Aces basketball.

Through the suggestions and input of this very forum, we identified the following as key areas...Bus Trips, Watch Parties and a group seating section. The bus trip has been a struggle to fill, we will be announcing the watch parties in the next few days, and hardly anyone showed any interest in creating a designated section, so that has been scrapped for the year.

I guess my question is what if anything can we do to make this appealing to the group I always considered the die-hards of the die-hards...this forum? Is there something that you would like to see that we aren't doing? Any and all suggestions, as well as involvement is certainly welcome. You can PM Tom Servo or myself, or email us at aceshighclub@outlook.com

Hope to see many of you on the bus and at the upcoming watch parties.

I'd like to be involved, but I live north about 350 miles away from Evansville. I attend UE events when they play nearby.

You guys have done all the right things. As several have indicated, success on the court will dictate how much ongoing enthusiasm fans have for the program. Unfortunately, this is not shaping up to be the same team it was a few weeks ago. DeAndre and Becker being out, then DC being suspended (?) changes the Aces from a team that many of us thought could give X and U of I a game, to a very undersized club that will be hard pressed to win 8-10 games. This is the major factor keeping the average fan from making the trips, IMHO.

I'm glad the trip was organized and glad there are local Die-Hards that will support the Aces and maintain it thru thick and thin. If I lived closer, I'd be there for both of these important games.

The athletic admin. has made a couple of bad decisions and communication needs to improve. I spoke with a long-time season tic guy, who was not fully aware of the 6 pm weekday start times. This is a guy who usually KNOWS.

It is likely that we will struggle a bit early. UE Ath. Admin. needs to engage with ALL season tic holders, and they need to do MORE to include the student body in support of the team. That means promotions, publicized well in advance. HEAVILY discounted tickets for groups, etc. In short, the UE Ath. Dept. needs to listen to the fan base, and make them glad they bought a ticket to each and every game. It cannot be a "business as usual" approach.

Here is our final itinerary for the Xavier bus trip.

Ticket price is $30, and I will collect it prior to boarding. If you are attending the watch party tonight, you can bring it tonight. If paying by check, make it payable to UE. Per our agreement with UE, we can not give anyone a ticket without payment.

Park in parking lot H, which is off Frederick, on the east side of Carson Center.

We will start boarding the bus around 10:00 AM, and leave promptly at 10:15AM.

You can bring personal items, bags and up to a 6 pack size personal cooler. Larger coolers will have to be stored under the bus.

We will make restroom stops along the way, and will stop for dinner on the way back. I would suggest bringing a lunch for the trip there.

When we get there, we will notify everyone on where to meet for the return trip. Please plan on being at the bus within 20 minutes of the end of the game.

With the stop for dinner, I would anticipate being back at UE between 9:00 and 10:00 PM.

If you have any additional questions, let me know here or via email at: aceshighclub@outlook.com
