When you give up 17 offensive rebounds you're gonna lose. We had this game and gave it away.

Rebounding. Rebounding. Rebounding.

You can’t give up 17 offensive rebounds. The fact that we are even in the game says something, but we must get better on the glass.

Got two stops in the last minute, only to not secure it away and give up a put back.

Noah
2018-19 EVAN 21.3 2.8-6.1 .466 1.4-3.8 .378 1.5-2.1 .720 2.2 0.9 0.0 0.4 0.6 1.2 8.6
2017-18 EVAN 21.6 1.8-4.7 .383 0.8-2.1 .364 1.1-1.3 .814 1.8 1.1 0.1 0.4 0.9 0.9 5.4

Evan
2018-19 EVAN 22.5 2.5-6.9 .361 1.1-3.8 .289 0.3-0.3 1.000 2.0 1.3 0.3 0.4 2.8 0.9 6.4
2017-18 EVAN 11.4 0.9-1.9 .458 0.4-0.9 .455 0.2-0.2 .833 1.2 0.3 0.1 0.2 1.2 0.2 2.4

Looks like kust Evan's shooting % and Noah's Free throw % are only things worse than last year.

I think Noah for the season has been a much stronger player and Evan is just struggling with his shot right now.

If Kuhlman grabs that rebound with 40 seconds to go, we win. Instead, he reached for the ball while the Redhawk player hustles to the ball and grabs it. Sorry to pinpoint a single player, but those are the types of plays that win or lose close games!

And to Coach McCarty - why no DC or Givance the last 5 minutes? DC would take away the Miami drives and would’ve cleaned up those late game rebounds.

Agree - that Miami team may be the weakest opponent we play the rest of the season.

Evan and Noah brought nothing to this game....were much better shooting the 3 last year, and that one skill they brought is missing now, so they should not be in the game. They both played slow and weak against a team that we could have defeated . DC actually looked much better today than in earlier games. I thought we played horribly the 2nd half....you could just see another L coming. Feehan seems to be taking a back seat to Evan and Noah, and I think that the team needs to be finding him as his threes fall more often than theirs. Missed free throws would have made the difference in this game if we had made them, also. Just plain ole crappy offense from about everyone on the team except for Riley's drives to the basket! Very disappointing to lose a game that was ours for the taking!

All of Evan’s shots are coming up short and it’s been that way for some time. He’s not getting his legs into them or he needs to make some adjustments. Maybe he should give up the 3s and move inside the line for a while. He’s becoming a liability on the court.

I think DC needs to be in the starting lineup. He's are only chance against guys like McGlin of Drake.
