Jack goes to the market and buys five (5) apples for $1.00, and the next day, the same farmer sells him four (4) apples for $0.88 cents. Did Jack get a better deal because his total price was lower? Answer is no.

You don't know Jack about apple prices. You'd be lucky to get one apple for a dollar. But at 5 for a dollar it might cost you 200 apples to see a Grambling game. Even I wouldn't pay that. By the way, don't count your apples until they've released the schedule. And don't forget that some of the fan board members prefer to receiver fewer games so that the Aces can play secret games. I'm not one of them. I want to get my apple's worth.

Personally I prefer mangos or pineapple. UE is/was trying to schedule USI as our only exhibition game. Never heard how the first meeting went.

We now have the dates for the games against Ball State University, thanks to The Star Press (Muncie newspaper) article on the non-conference schedule for them.

Evansville (Away; Nov.9, 2019)
This is the third meeting of the current agreement as the teams split two meetings last season. This one will likely be Ball State's second game of the season. The Cardinals will host the Purple Aces on Nov. 14, 2020.

Earlier Pat Hickey said this was a UE home game... guess not!??

6th man, I think you may have misread it. The game with Ball State is at Evansville this year (Nov. 9, 2019) and next year Evansville is at Ball State (Nov. 14, 2020)

Thanks! I thought this was next season. My reading skills apparently aren't what they used to be.

After the string of beat downs by UE I don't think USI is interested anymore. They do play tough opponents in exhibition games but better to lose 500 miles away than across town where it will be remembered. But I do hope they find the nerve and schedule the game.

Just saw where Purdue, Xavier, Florida just released their 19-20 schedules.

X opponent list looks pretty strong. Interesting to see that FL is playing AT Butler....wow. How far Butler's rep has risen!

I am not sure the rep is still rising. They played Florida last year in the Bahamas, this is probably something tied to that. I think the coaching turnover may have finally caught up with them. They weren't all that spectacular last season, and appear to have a brutal schedule this year. Retooling against Villanova and company is a little tougher than Valpo and Cleveland State..just ask DePaul.

Playing in the Big East will give them some scheduling advantages. If P5 schools think they can go in there and have a reasonable shot at a win, it only becomes that more attractive.
