Trees fell to Tulsa who put a big run last ten minutes of the second half.

theDRAKE beat-up on Pepperdine tonight. 69-53

Pepperdine, besides fellow MVC member theDRAKE, also lost to two other future ACES opponents; Fresno State (69-66) and Murray State (59-55).

Wichita State's injury problems worsened today with a very scary head injury to forward Anton Grady during the Alabama game this afternoon.

Prayers for the kids full recovery.

Wow, I hope he is alright. Another tough break for the Shockers

A few days after playing Maryland competitively, Illinois State really struggles to beat Division 2 Quincy today 73-63.

Quincy lead until the final 7 minutes of the game.

They played pretty good against Kentucky in the first half last night. The Wildcats opened it up in the end and beat them by 19.

SIU took care of UNI at home. Beane went for 30. SIU had a big crowd and they look much, much better than last year. We will have our hands full in both games vs SIU, especially on the road.

And already UNI fans are in the "sky is falling mode" and that coach Jacobson is doing a terrible job by not utilizing his players properly.

It's amazing how quickly fans can turn on a coach - even with his track record. This team has beaten the #1 and #5 teams this season and their fans are complaining about how poorly UNI is being coached this season.

Being an older Aces fan I think the mind set of so many people these days has changed in part because of the Internet. Everyone wants it now. Every wants it easy. No one wants to really, really work hard to earn something anymore..or at least fewer and fewer people do. Loyalty has gone out the window because of the ability to buy many things online. Comments that the UNI coach is doing a poor job is a joke and has to be the minority opinion by only a few who are those fly by the night people that call themselves loyal fans..nothing could be further from the truth with these clowns. Jacobsen is a terrific coach.

I'm not so sure about the Internet being a big factor, it just makes the comments more obvious. I had a granddad who played for Indiana just before WW2, and he couldn't watch any of Bobby Knight's teams without second guessing various plays during every commercial.
