UNI winning would not be a good thing for us...

And there it is...dang. Now they are only a game behind us

UNI did what we ALMOST did in Wichita....but we didn't hit our free throws. UNI went through a slump at a recent part of the season....and they have bounded back. On of the bounces back was defeating us - in a game that we could have won had we played as we are capable, but we blew it.

Heart and Soul....hope ours hasn't failed us. Biggest weakness we have, as usual.....we will have to wait and see what the Aces are make of. I don't have much faith in our game plan nor choice of players, but the players can overcome even that with their attitude and work.

What I see as the Shox have now lost two is what coulda, shoulda, woulda been had we held serve in the games we were supposed to win..at ISU Trees, at UNI, and at home vs ISU Birds and we were 0 for 3. We are seeing each team has struggled at some point during the conference season..the Shox and Aces now, UNI and Ill State earlier but not now. It is always better to finish strong than start strong. We have not shown we can do this in any recent years. We have five games to prove otherwise plus St Louis or we are going to see our NIT chances slip away and that would be a disaster.
