Zac Saddler

Postby Tom Servo » Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:05 am

FYI...Saddler is leaving Milwaukee per Verbal Commits. Probably left due to Jordan getting the Butler job.

I always thought he would fit well here, but the question is would he be interested. I'm sure Marty would be considering he doesn't even have a full team (facepalm). I assume he would have to sit out this coming season if he came here. btw, he redshirted his first year at U-Mil, for what that's worth. I don't know all the rules as to how that works. Would he lose a yr of eligibility? I am thinking that he probably would...

Great logic cup! Red shirt freshman year and this year were one in the same. Any other non-stats factor into your opinion?

This was his freshman year...hard for him to score while he's redshirting....

I see Aces and Eights beat me to it, thanks haha

Thanks for linking to that, I tried to post it in that but the thread was locked.

We were the first school to offer him back in 2015 it appears. Wash St., Milwaukee, and American offered in the spring after his sr. year.

I would certainly take him at this point in time. I don't really see what there is to lose. He's leaps and bounds better than anyone else out there at this point in time, plus he'd have a year to learn the system, which is pretty important here.

Who else even is there, the 11% three point shooter??

Zac would be a great pick up. Loved his all around game. Handles the ball well and loves to drive, but also has an outside shot. Rather than lose a year of eligibility I would think he would go to a juco.
