Can't even get a visit

It's obvious that he has picked the 3 schools closest to home to visit in September. He lives near Northern Illinois. Drake is 220 miles west and UWM is 122 miles northeast.
Does UE not fit the last sentence "He says he is still open to other schools beyond these three."

I'm sure he means bigger name schools,like Illinois,and others.We offered,that's all we could do.

Fair enough. But he has gone through the AAU season and has 5 offers. George Condit picked up 17 P5 offers this summer after the Aces offered. I don't see any big schools offering again until maybe the spring recruiting season.

Aces coach/coaching staff was in Chicago yesterday at Simeon and St. Ritas along with about 10 other schools. Messiah plays for Simeon. No names on the St. Ritas roster have appeared on this site as recruits yet.

I'll try to remain positive for the next month and a half. Until that point, we have a chance. If the fall period comes and goes with nothing or marginal player(s) at best, we are in serious, serious trouble.

Let's hope they make the most out of this next month and a half. It is absolutely crucial they do something.

Not sure where you think Drake is, but Des Moines is about 340 miles west of Chicago....I think Evansville is closer to Chicago than Des Moines is.

Anyway, we're happy to have landed Messiah, and I hope UE can salvage a good class. Need all the MVC teams to recruit well.
