It may just be me but he reminds me of Troy Taylor with his toughness and how he is a high character kid. And I think that he can shoot.

Go Aces!!!

The money quote for me..."Jomaru Brown is so tough, just a physical bully on defense........" This and a legit 4 is what you must have to go toe-to-toe with teams like Illinois State.

SPOT ON !
I am trying to think of who our last legit 4 was that saw significant playing time at UE. Do I have to go all the way back to the 90s and Bryan Hill? Been racking my brain and I can't remember any playing at The Ford.

I also want to say GOOD JOB to the coaching staff. The two signees look great on paper and in their videos ! Not sure how many others we will land but by the looks of it we are 2 for 2 at this stage. Not going to get em all but we seem to always be just one or two good players short of having a really good five on the floor at the same time.

Craig Snow was the probably the last really, really good one. Him, Elkins, and Hill. Webster was pretty good, but he wasn't as good as those three.

Marty hasn't had one.

I think Merfeld had to use Webster his senior year as almost as much of a 5 as a 4 because Strickland was so thin he could not hold his ground and seemed to play more outside the paint and as a 4. However I am old so who knows if this is really accurate. Snow was good, he was after Hill. Elkins also, all were in Crew's era except Webster..None for Marty as you noted. Even if Sawvell would have stayed he would not have been as good as those mentioned above I don't think.

If Aces would be fortunate enough to land Christian Williams, he, Brown. Dru Smith would be 3 lock down defenders for next year's team.
