Then when that didn't work, he'd have to make something happen with 3 seconds left on the clock. Good luck Jomaru. Really was excited about his skill set.

I would hope whoever the new coach is would reach out to both of them and explain that to them if he still thinks both of them fit into what he wants to do.

You're right though...that's what would have happened with Brown especially. A new coach (hopefully) wouldn't have him doing that, definitely a selling point! Aleks would have been under the basket setting picks, so the selling point to him would be the same thing. It's still the same school, just a different playing style (hopefully) that fits more into their strengths.
Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.

I just don't know if we'll hire a coach quick enough to sway these guys. I'm not really concerned about them, though. I hope our current guys stay. Guys like John Hall, Evan and Noah could thrive in a quick up tempo style.

I still hope Alexs comes to Evansville. At 6"10 he can shoot and dribble the ball. Aces had picked up a late bloomer in this guy whom I believe flew over the radar of a lot of schools.

I don't understand why these players want out.Or maybe they are tired of the waiting game. And maybe Walter has not reached out to them

I think Jomaru would fit in nicely with Walter's fast pace style; but of course Jomaru has to feel that way as well and feel a connection with the coaches and we haven't even announced our assistant coaches yet.

Is it possible for him to revisit since we have a new coach? (and new coaching staff soon) - of course, with his high school year finishing up that might not be possible for him to come here. Just not sure what the NCAA rules are on this; but pretty sure that Walter and his staff would have to go to NC to make this happen in all likelihood.

Other than maybe 1 on the list the Aces were probably his best offer.
