Just read on verbal commits that we offered this kid. He is from Hobart, but appears to be going to a prep school in northern Indiana this year. Based on the video I watched, I am good with it. He looks fairly athletic, and one would only assume he will fill out some more. Only one other offer, William and Mary, so I would think as of now we would have a legit chance to land him.

I think this guy would be a fantastic pickup if we could get him.
These are the types of players we need to be offering. Shooters with size. I would put this guy at the top of the list from what I saw.
If we could sign this guy and/or Ryan Davis, David Viti, and Rashad Williams this fall that would be a huge step back in the right direction.

What is not to like about this kid. He's definitely got some skills and can shoot the three, dribble the ball, play defense and is pretty agile for a big man. Sure he needs to put on some weight and muscle but he's got some game.

So I presume Bosco Institute is a prep school and he would have four years of egibility starting next year?

Hard to understand why he does not have more offers. He would be perfect for Evansville. We need to sign a significant player like him and another to generate some excitement and hope for the program.

Based on his twitter, he started at Bosco right after graduation from Hobart. So my guess is he did not play AAU basketball and has been flying under the radar. Bosco was started 3 years ago and has gotten 14 of their 26 players D1 scholarships.
Aleks would be a great addition to the team. Hopefully, the Aces past eastern European players will give the school an inside track to getting him here to play for the Aces.

I presume he is a recruit for next year; however, I would think if his grades are in line that he could join mid year as well. Not sure how that would work though with half a year and four years of eligibility.
So I'm sure he is much more likely for next year than mid-year but I thought that I would throw that out there.
