I didn’t know Marty was trying to bring football back. This kid is as big as a left tackle. If he has feet like a left tackle, might not be a bad get as a 4/5 hybrid.

I like "space eaters" like this guy. When you have a player up front who can rebound, defend, pass, and set screens makes for a valuable asset. Normally, I don't like recruiting a lot of the jucos but if were to make a mistake in recruiting one you might as well make it a 6'8 300lb guy.

Interesting background. Listed hometown is Chicago, IL but he played his HS ball in Avondale, AZ. Played at Glendale (AZ) CC his freshman year before transferring to Crowley College CC in KS for his sophomore year. Not sure how many players transfer from one CC to another and make it to DI basketball. If he still has any ties to Chicago, UE and SIU might be in the running. I like letsgoAces' description of a space eater, also at his size would be able to push around or stop other bigs with his body. He possibly would have got minutes this year the way DC has picked up 2 early fouls in some games. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall UE having any 300 lb guys in the past. Talking about players, not Head Coaches.

This guy can also stretch the floor, he shoots quite a bit of 3s. Only hitting them at a 29% rate, but the fact he can step out there and make them adds another dimension to his game.

Steve "The Whale" Welmer might have qualified as a 300 pounder during his playing days.

Did some quick searching and found some video. This guy seems to move very well for his size.

Trust me if he shoots 29pct from 3 he wont be shooting any 3s for Marty's team

Surely this guy should we land him can give us more than Traore has in his two seasons.
Marty will certainly have his work cut out for him if he is trying to get this guy into the shape DC and others have gotten in during their time as an Ace.

I did see some footage on him. Actually has some impressive post moves and more mobile than I thought. I'd go ahead and offer him. He and DC would be a nice combination.
