If his ex head coach at E Ky. Dan Mc Hale, becomes our new top assistant, in which I believe he will be.I think we have an excellent chance of landing this kid.

He looks like he has some serious hop to his step and likes to push the ball. Some serious range on his three point shot as well. Looks like he would fit the fast pace style that Walter wants to play. A very active player.
There is a YouTube video of his freshman EKU highlights if you Google. Just couldn't out figure how to get the URL from the YouTube video on my IPhone or IPad or I would have posted.
Go Aces!!! Hope to hear some news soon.

Could be a sign that the prediction by one viewer that Dan McHale, ex EKU head coach, may become assoc. coach for Walter. I don't know about McHale's skills based on his EKU record. If you look at the coaching tree, it's another Pitino link, which could lead to a high profile game with Minnesota sometime soon, as well as connections we didn't have on other potential player additions that can play immediately.
I like the idea of getting a couple of guys like Boyd, but sitting out a year will limit us to just a couple of them. Walter needs a senior transfer, a couple of high ceiling D2 transfers and a couple of top tier Jucos for 2018-19. The international market might get us another guy who could give us some immediate minutes. Boyd could be another Ryan Taylor the following year. His PPG is impressive for a freshman at any D1 school.
Most of all, he needs to keep Dru on board.

Couteau--Thanks for posting the video.
Agree with all above comments on him. If a coach leaves a program does the player have to sit out a year if given his release by that university?
If I were one of our current players I would get on board quickly because Walter is going to fill the roster pretty quickly imho. Unless some of our players really don't want to play this style and don't feel like they will get any PT under Walter, they need to stick around. This is going to be a lot of fun next year and for years to come. I can't wait until next season.
