I watched one of his highlight videos; to me he looks great on there. The only thing I'm a little curious about, is he really 6'8? He doesn't look like he is from the video. Looks more like 6'6", which is fine. I honestly think we have a plethora of 4 men for once. As someone else said, there are some similarities to Taylor. Would really be a big help at the 2/3 spots...which I think is an area where we are lacking right now.

Pocket the scholarship. I no longer think Silva is worth pursuing as did most other D-1 schools. There could be another opportunity come along this year but there are bigger fish in the pond next year and McCarty and crew need to be working them. If we are down to one open scholarship then the difference between 12 and 13 on the roster is not material.

I agree too, at this point 12 should be ok...would give plenty of openings for the 2019 class, which is a very important class.

Not going to lie, I think St. Louis is way over the scholarship limit.

I looked at verbal commits and count 14 current, signed, and committed including Hankton.

Suspect that Travis Ford will "suggest" that one of his carryovers might find playing time at another school. That's often how it happens. Got to hand it to Ford. He's really loaded up on the recruiting trail. St. Louis could be really good next year.
