Quote from the article on the two brothers, JaWaun and Tristen:

"They continue to search for a college program that will take them both."

Sounds good to me.

We like to say that you only see the ones they make on these videos, but you have to be able to make them whether you are being guarded or not, so we know he can make them. Knowing that you have a coach that will encourage you take them will help, also. (Oh crap, am I allowed to say that)?

Looks like they had to travel a ways from home, but they found the "revitalized hidden little gem" in the Evansville Purple Aces.
This looks not only the "athletic type of player we need, but more importantly to me he and his family like great people."

Newton Family....welcome to the Purple Aces family. Thank you for choosing UE and thanks to Walt and crew for reaching out and getting someone (maybe some-two) special people and players.

Go Aces !!

True, they only show makes. But remarkably, Tristen had a dozen makes to show from beyond 25 feet in his junior year. Forget the makes, most shooters, even the best ones, wouldn't shoot a dozen altogether in a season from that range. Tristen would definitely stretch a defense.
