If TJ Washington can can come close to Wichita State's FRED VANVLEET or Loyola's CLAYTON CUSTER, I'll be happy. These are my two (2) top MVC PG's in the past decade, maybe longer. It's not just the scoring, but the ability to keep the team on course during the game. Those are BIG SHOULDERS to fill.

As Juco player TJ will be coming in and playing immediately. The 3 UWM players must sit out next year. I don't see any correlation.

He's saying that because he holds an offer from Milwaukee.

Exactly. He might see his immediate playing time in Milwaukee.

No guard spots for Aces a guarantee for any player. With a new head coach everyone on equal footing. UWM does not seem like an attractive destination at this moment, though i like the program.

If TJ's #1 concern is playing time, UWM just got a whole lot more attractive.

Man, I'd really like to have Reaves...didn't realize he was leaving. Tough guy who can shoot the ball really well. Shooting is something we need.

As far as TJ goes...watched the video highlights and there is a lot to like. Can shoot off the dribble and can handle the ball - both things are something a lot of PG's we've had could not do. The main issue I have with him are his shooting percentages - around 30% from three according to this:

Honestly, I don't see how T.J. wouldn't see immediate playing time here. We need a PG, so I believe we would be a very attractive option for him. I think Juwaun will be able to contribute at the point, but I really don't want K.J. playing a lot of point. Bring T.J. in, let him start at point and have a rotation where JuWaun is playing and getting some valuable experience. I personally would rather see K.J. playing the 3 some, and still handling the ball at times. I can see Hurley handling the ball some in McCarty's offense, but not be the true point guard.......Even if Milwaukee has some openings, I think we can offer as much or more playing time as them. In addition, do we know if he is even visiting Milwaukee? I read UE and Utah Valley was his upcoming stops.

I don't disagree that he could step into a significant role here, just thought it was interesting when I stumbled on the UWM info earlier. He could be just what we need.
