Hey Okie - I've split this out into its own thread for tidiness :-)

PG Shamar Givance can flat out GO!! lightning quick floor general who shoots it from deep! Should fit coach's system well. Outstanding!

the only offer I saw for Shamar was from High Point at 5' 8'' you would have at least like to have seen him have a couple of offers from other teams, at this late in the year.

I really liked his clips. Hope he works out like I feel he will. If we could get that Silva guy now, we'd be looking really good, in my opinion.

I guess I am just going to have to trust Walter with this one.

I am wondering now if T.J. Washington is still being offered?

TJ could still be in play. He would be a Junior coming in while Shamar would be a Freshman. It would be nice to see a younger guy being mentored by an experienced Juco player. You can never have enough lightning-quick guards who can push the ball and defend.

Who knows, maybe TJ has decided to stay closer to home and commit to Omaha, but I am not seeing that anywhere on the internet.....

He's not been tweeting much about his recruiting experience since this past weekend. He's not tipping his hand much but I had believed his interest is still strong with UE. Personally, I had thought Walter would save one of the scholarships for next season and then sign a point guard and a big guy. I am confident Silva is still in play but not as confident T.J still is. I may be wrong.
