More than that, though, I think a grad transfer with his maturity, attitude, toughness and skills could be a great asset to help build the kind of mindset the team will need in the first year under Walter. I get the sense that Shea will always give 110%, never take a day off, and will do whatever it takes to give the Aces the best chance to win.

It's also important to reinforce our support for the 6 guys who showed the confidence to stay with UE after the coaching change. Just as we've congratulated Solomon, we need to show the returnees some love as the new recruiting class is introduced.

Totally agree. Especially with your last paragraph.

I believe Shea is going to be an immediate fan favorite. His up-tempo style will fit in perfectly with Walter's system. He can create his own shot and shoot the three, excellent free throw shooter, and plays with a lot of hustle and enthusiasm. Because of his present experience and abilities, other than Hurley, I am not for sure if Aces have a better guard than he. Could be wrong.

I totally agree with this - before his commitment I was a little worried about the "point guard" position on this team and who would be the engine to drive the uptempo pace. I think Shea will be instrumental in pushing the pace and distributing the ball to our other shooters. Not real sure our other guards can effectively do that except for maybe Hurley and possibly Shamar.

Go Aces!!!

Shamar will in time...he can really fly. But you would have to say at this point Shea's experience is going to give him an edge. Both will play a lot.

And don't forget KJ. Not a prototypical point, but he can get it done. Hopefully, he's been working on that jump shot.

"Stop gap?" I think it's humorous that some of you "experts" think this kid will perform for UE just like he did for Vacuum Cleaner Tech.

Hey Lerch,

for YOU to call Ureka College as Vacuum Cleaner Tech.
Only proves you have no idea about Institutions of Learning.
President Ronald Reagan the 40th President of the United States of America.....
graduated from Eureka College.......
But in your World he was just a Cowboy Actor from Hollywood.
Your responses to any/all posts have proven you to me WEIRD.......... never a positive note about anything just Ranting and the "I know it all attitude" which only proves that you really don't.
Joining this forum just a few months ago, and already posting 60+ times...... is great....for the rest of us on this forum...... I am waiting for another member to Support you in Any Post.....
WSU is no longer in our conference, maybe you should move on and support them .

JUST FACT!!!!

True. Not many grad programs at UE. I didn't even know a grad transfer rule existed until the last couple of years.
