6'8 PF who recently popped up on Verbal commits. Us and a Hartford offer popped up today. Also holds an offer from Binghampton. Apparently he started to turn heads at a recent tourney he played in and was named to the all-tourney team. VIdeo shows he's bouncy and looks like he moves really well. Also looks really capable from 3 point range.

Looks like a reincarnation of Ryan Sawvell. Definitely had shooting range, athleticism, and size...all good things. Looks impressive to me!

He has an official visit set up for May 11-12 at Wisconsin, so he could be offered by them this weekend.

Also found he was a Binghampton commit then asked out of his LOI.

I agree. Could be a diamond in the rough.

Wow....I am impressed. Really gets up and down the court. Looks like he could be a monster on the boards. What is not to like about this kid. I say sign him. I think we would be fortunate to get this type of player, this late in the signing period. Sounds like he is becoming a hot commodity, based on him visiting Wisconsin, so hopefully we can sneak in and get him.

He would be a great signing this late. But my worry is that this offer makes me feel Silva may no longer be interested in coming to Evansville. His team is no longer playing and to my knowledge has no other visits scheduled. Wish I knew what is holding up his decision.

You may be correct on Silva, but who knows. I feel this may be more related to hearing info from other PF recruits like KC Hankton, Jean Louis, etc....

I would take Becker if we can get him. Berrick Jean Louis also fits and is super athletic. Silva is a puzzle. Whether he is somehow waiting on a W. Coast offer, or whatever, I think the lack of feedback from him and Hankton probably just means they are waiting until they have heard from any team that might have interest. We could still get either of them, but only if they REALLY want to be Aces. Feehan is a gym rat. I think he'll give 110%' effort every day and he may be the best remaining PG. He has a chip on his shoulder, and he can shoot the 3. Graves and Lickliter know what to look for in guard play, and we've got to trust them. It wouldn't surprise me if we offer 3-4 more kids before the weekend is over. There are still a bunch of Kids who made VCs but haven't signed their LOIs.

I know you follow Silva as least as close as I do, if not more. His recent tweets lately have had little to do with basketball and kind of nonsensical. I don't think KC is coming to the Aces...he never makes any kind of comments about Evansville. I think we will know more about Jeanlouis after his visit with FGC this weekend.

Becker is an interesting recruit and looks like a prototype Wisconsin player. But I can't help but think the Aces would not be offering him if they felt confident Silva would commit.
