Nice win, had to hold serve at home. UNI shouldn't be this bad.

Aces did their part and won. Ind State is currently up 54-52 at Valpo with 4:55 left in the game.

Didn't say he played too much. There was a stretch in the first half where he played poorly and you could tell he was getting frustrated. Sit him down for a little while and let him regroup.

It's probably best to wait until the end of the game before complaining about a player. Blake probably played his best game of the season.

Yes, Aces now tied for 6th in the Valley, and only 2 games out of 2nd. I can't believe that the line up we are putting on the floor now can win a road game, or beat a good team at home. Hope I'm wrong, but we will see.

This morning I saw this an thought would be a good & ugly game! It lived up to expectation . Koch is a handful!

Great gutsy win by the Aces!!!
I'm not sure why UNI didn't play Bennett Koch much down the stretch. He was getting the benefit of the calls down low. With DC fouled out and Traore and Kuhlman with four fouls I didn't know if the Aces would have five guys on the floor at the end; much less who would guard Koch. I guess UNI wanted to press and go with the three point shooters - not sure; but I think that it helped Evansville to pull away at the end by not playing him.

Real proud of the boys - great win. Great game by a lot of guys, especially Taylor and Simmons.

It's going to be a real challenge going on the road to Illinois St. on Saturday - shorthanded and without Dru. ISU-Red's only home conference loss was to Loyola - so there is hope.

Go Aces!!!

Glad we were able to pull it out. Blake has what I would say was his best game as an Ace. I didn’t realize he has that many rebounds watching the game in person. He played a very hard game and made some really big shots and plays.

Thankfully Marty finally left Kuhlman in for an extended period and he delivered with two threes and a big layup on the break.

Taylor made some big shots and I thought Noah made some really good passes. Noah still needs to look for his shot more.

Glad we got the win!

Key point, be patient, never judge a coach on Year 1!
