I found a couple of YouTube videos on him. He’s quite athletic and appears very skilled for a HS player of this size. I can see why the whole staff made a visit.

Here's a video not the greatest of quality:

He's extremely mobile for 7'1 and saw a tweet saying Gonzaga will be looking at him.

Elijah has grown 8" in the past year. Big man with small man skills!

Sort of reminds me of the story of David Robinson. He entered the Naval Academy at 6-8 and came out at 7-1 and became one of the great NBA centers.

Not saying Height is going this route but his upside appears to be unlimited and McCarty and crew could be the right fit. I’m sure having a coach who can look you in the eye and say this is what I can do for you will have an impact.

This early attention being placed on Elijah is invaluable. Kids who are 7-1 do not fly under the radar anymore, if they ever did. Walter and staff are "in the mix", which rarely happened during the Simmons tenure. As noted before, coaches today have to cast a wide net, and they need to show the love for recruits who fit their system and the univ. Academic reqts. long before the kid is a rising HS senior. Guys like Elijah and Moreno from KY will fit extremely well in the new UE system, and they will have a great chance to earn PT earlier. The other guys Walter has offered look great too. A couple of years, and we are going to be back on a winning tradition again. It's like going to the cinema and viewing a coming attraction for a movie you just HAVE TO SEE!! ON BOARD!!

I'm not trying to throw stones at the previous coaches, but I don't ever remember this much recruiting activity ever, I love it!!!

It's funny you say that because I was actually thinking the exact same thing!

Walter and his staff are being very aggressive with their recruiting. It would seem the Aces are getting a different level of player than years past. Once the present staff continues to establish themselves with high school underclassmen, Aces fan's, I believe are going to see some huge results.
