After losing Berrick yesterday to come back the next day with a signing such as this feels real good. Becker's stock blew up during his AAU tournament and he may end up being a whole lot better than many may have first realized. Kuddos to coaching staff for keeping close tabs on him and getting his commitment.
At this point, I am sure Walter will extend will extend at least one more offer to someone. I am not sure where Coach McCarty and Silva are right now in regards to Silva coming to Evansville. Knowing Walter he may have one more surprise player to announce to us next week when he announces the players that have signed.

I don't think the Valley is quaking in their boots just yet, but if even a few of these players pan out it's a good start.

Some are saying Sawvell, this guy has a lot better range than Sawvell, I think we will surprise some teams this year.

Time will certainly tell how well this group of recruits will do under Coach McCarty. But I share each of the fans enthusiasm towards this group of kids who clearly play at a different and higher level that what they had been accustomed . The MVC, I believe in time, will see that for themselves as well.

Very excited about Will signing. I liked him from the get go, and really think as he develops and fills out that we will all be thankful for this signing.....just really excited about this recruiting class and every thing that is going on with our program.

I don't know yet about surprising people but I do hope you are right. He also reminds me of Sawvell with better range. That's a good thing. Sawvell would have excelled under McCarty and it was easy to see that his skill set didn't mesh with Marty's sluggish, over-coached system.
