Postby AcePurple77 » Sun May 20, 2018 9:52 am

Fan since 1977 and going to games since 1995. I want you to share with me your most memorable Aces game (good or bad) and your most memoriable Aces game (good or bad) that you have seen in person. Looking forward to hearing your responses.

^^^^^^
Agree on most memorable.

Most memorable attended: vs. Xavier and Byron Larkin at the crazy old barn that was the Cincinnati Gardens.

Would have to agree with Purp. Another one of my favorites can't think of the year. When Notre Dame came in ranked and the Aces throttled them. Casebier years.

Most memorable are always the ones you are in attendance of

Larry Bird's last trip to Robert stadium, I was probably 12 or 13, in one of top rows of the bleachers, It was insane how many people were standing between the bleachers. Everybody wanted to see that game!

Haffner's 65

The mcc championship games in Indy with Xavier

I could go on for a while but I got yard work to do! Aces Aces!

Would have to agree with both these picks. The 3 or 4 overtime game with Butler, up there, was one for the books also.

The most memorable attended was the infamous goal tending call against Purdue's Bill Franklin on a 3/4 court heave. I can't remember who launched it. it was going to land about the free throw line and Franklin caught it in mid air. Back then you had to let it hit the floor. That was the Purdue team with Rick Mount and Evansville's own Larry Weatherford.

Most memorable is either the NCAA tournament win or Haffner's 65 point game.

Memorable game. NCAA against Oregon St.
Memorable moment from it. Crafton’s shot from about 26’ to win it.

Memorable game in person. Every single game against Xavier.

I think that was after he graduated. I want to say John Wellemyer but I'm not certain at all.
