If you think you are talented enough to play on the same court as LeBron, and you need someone credible on your side to vouche for you. Who do you want?
Travis Steele or Walter McCarty?

I totally agree! Also, I'm not sure who serves as the assistant coaches at Xavier, but I can't imagine a better total staff than what UE has to offer. With all that wealth of knowledge, experience, and NBA connections, our staff has to be one of the tops in the country.

I hope it works out for Sam and for UE.

I’ve seen this statement a couple off times now. Just curious, what does “one of the tops in the country” mean? Top 10, 50, 100, 150?

Wondering how the visit went? I can't find his Twitter account.

Don't know any details, but on his twitter account he and Coach just began to follow each other, and he hasn't followed any other Head Coaches from other universities from what I can tell, maybe a good sign.

It is another good sign that he isn’t following any other head Coaches.

A Jon Rothstein tweet said that he was also contacted by G. Canyon, Maryland, and Minnesota, but I think that may be old news. Sounds like we'll know something soon. Sam seems to be an interesting guy. Evidently a good teammate and as someone said, not so interested in the university's location, etc. Both ASU and KU are pretty big ponds. Maybe a more easy going venue and a supportive coaching staff would be just the thing! UE!!

Great news! Bill Self said if he waited a year there was a window for him to produce at Kansas. Bobby Hurley said when he was a freshman he had potential to change a Pac 12 teams program. Saw a tweet saying he has NBA potential and will start on 99% of DI teams. Glad we're the 99% program he chose. Welcome Sam!!

Fantastic news!!!
8-19 .....1986
16-12 ....1987 --- MCC Champ
21-8 .....1988 --- NIT
25-6 .....1989 --- NCAA
Key point, be patient, never judge a coach on Year 1!
