I'm glad to see this game come back. It's always a good game.

What's the point in scheduling IU- Kokomo? That looks terrible for our RPI.

Please post a link for the out-of-conference schedule. Are you sure it's not IUPUI you're thinking of, the game we play at the Pacers' stadium the day after Thanksgiving? IUPUI is a DI program in the Horizon League. IU Kokomo is an NAIA Division II program, big difference.

Thanks for the link. From the article:

"Notably, the Aces will play IUPUI on Nov. 29 (the Friday after Thanksgiving) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. After a date with Kentucky in Lexington on Nov. 12, they will host IU-Kokomo, an NAIA program, Nov. 18 before heading down to play in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase from Nov. 22-24."

This is a game to raise the team's confidence if UK doesn't go too well and will be a tune up before the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase. Also, guys who don't get much playing time will get an opportunity to play in a real game scenario outside of practice to help the coaches evaluate talent further. Does playing an NAIA Division II team even affect the strength of schedule? My understanding is the NAIA teams list games against NCAA DI opponents as exhibitions.

I would've thought it would say exhibition if it was (which I hope it is one.) Otherwise it counts as a non-D1 opponent.
