Here in AZ you can go to any school you want for any reason you want. Indiana is so living in the past.

I heard the kid's appeal was denied. He will have to sit out the season.

Yep, he’s done for a year in Indiana. If he were my son, I would seriously consider a prep school. Even now it’s a little late for that as their playing seasons have already started. Any kid Curt’s age is seriously affected in his development as a player by missing a full year at this time. Doesn’t mean he isn’t worthy of a scholarship but if he would sign in November 2020 he will not have played HS ball since his sophomore year.

On a positive note, Curt can stay in shape and play AAU ball next summer and show his skills. Hopefully he will be ready for UE.

Curt will still play for Barr Reeve this season, just at the jv level. Rule is ineligible for 365 days from varsity competition. It stinks, but there it is.
