With the players we have available next year, whether it's MVC regular season champions or MVC Tournament champs, Coach will have the Aces playing for a Valley title next year.

Could not agree more.

Great WIN for the Aces

I wish I could have seen the game 6th. Great win indeed.

I watched the 2nd have of the Drake at UNI game this afternoon. I swear, UNI gets the luckiest bounces of any team I know. They are up one with maybe 10-15 seconds left and guy goes to the line for what I think was a 1 and 1, the ball hits back of the rim, goes on top of the backboard, and drops through. He then makes the 2nd one and UNI goes on to win the game. Drake had MANY chances to win the game but failed to score a point it he last 2+ minutes of the game including a wide open layup with under 30 seconds to go which would have given them the lead. Unreal.

Yeah, I watched the 2nd half of that game too, for some of the people who complain about the Aces offense you really need to watch these other games. Most of these MVC teams are horrible on offense.
8-19 .....1986
16-12 ....1987 --- MCC Champ
21-8 .....1988 --- NIT
25-6 .....1989 --- NCAA

Caught some of the SIU at Ill State game this evening in which Ill State held off a late rally to win by 1 point.
I can't stand Ill State !!! for many reasons, most notably their lack of class.
Fayne blocked an SIU shot in the first half and yelled out a wave of four letter expletives and immediately was called for a technical, and rightfully so. Any kids watching the game in person or even on tv if listening closely sure got an earful of something they did not need to hear and for sure saw a low class individual setting a low class example all under the direction of a low class program. Even the announcers had to apologize.

This makes me think of how nice it is to always know at UE we will have a first class coach with a great group of kids. I will always support the program because of this win or lose and be proud to call myself and Ace.

Go Aces !

haha I was watching that game when that happened. That was really a brutal game to watch. It was 100X worse than the Aces game this past weekend. I think SIU had 13 TO's at halftime!
